Not a bed of flowers!
Atul's mother handed him Rs 100 and told him to go to the florist and buy some flowers. Now mother also wanted to test Atul's arithmetic skills and, so, she told him to buy three types of flowers - marigold, rose and dahlia. Atul had to buy Rs 100 worth of flowers and, besides, he must buy exactly 100 flowers.
Of course, mother had purchased flowers on many occasions and knew their prices. She, therefore, knew how the conditions that she had imposed could be satisfied.
The price of one rose is five rupees. The price of one dahlia is one rupee and 20 marigolds cost one rupee.
Considering the above prices can you help Atul buy the flowers.
Mother has promised Atul a treat if he fulfills all the conditions. We state the conditions once again:
1. Atul must spend all the 100 rupees.
2. Atul must buy exactly 100 flowers.
3. Atul must buy all the three types of flowers.
Please help Atul in making the purchase. How many flowers of each type should he buy?
